Cheesy Egg & Andouille Sausage Sliders

Yield: 12 sliders

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg Richard's Premium Andouille Sausage
  • 12 Hawaiian Dinner Rolls
  • 8 large Eggs, scrambled
  • 6 slices Pepper Jack Cheese
  • 8 slices American Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Warm large skillet over medium heat. Add sausage and cook until hot all the way through
  3. Meanwhile, using a serrated knife, cut rolls in half lengthwise (without breaking apart)
  4. Place bottom half of rolls in 7-10 inch or 9-13-inch baking dish; set roll tops aside
  5. Spoon scrambled eggs over bottom rolls; top with Pepper Jack cheese.
  6. Place cooked sausage on top of Pepper Jack layer then add layer of American cheese
  7. Carefully place bun tops back on
  8. Combine melted butter and maple syrup in small bowl. Brush over tops of rolls allowing mixture to drip down sides and onto the bottom. Use the entire amount!
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until cheeses are bubbly & melty. Serve hot and ENJOY!
